(MENAFN- KNN India) 32 Electronic Manufacturing Beneficiaries Get Incentive Approval Under LIP

New Delhi, September 10 (KNN) On Friday, the large-scale electronics manufacturing sector received approval from a committee headed by NITI Aayog CEO Parmeswaran Iyer.

Under the Production Incentive Programs (PLI), this was the very first payment.

The program is expected to make India a competitive destination for electronics manufacturing, NITI Aayog said.

M/s Padget Electronics Pvt Ltd, a national company, is the first beneficiary approved by the committee entitled to receive incentives under the manufacture of mobiles on the basis of its additional investments and sales figures for the financial year 2021-22.

Padget Electronics Pvt Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dixon Technologies Pvt Ltd and has manufacturing facilities in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Thirty-two grantees had been accredited under the PLI program for large-scale electronics manufacturing, of which 10 (5 global and 5 domestic companies) were accredited for mobile manufacturing. (KNN Office)
